Howdy, my name is Jess!
I am originally from Libby, MT and currently reside in South Seattle, WA with my garden and my two cats. Outside of birthwork, I really enjoy watching birds, dancing alone in my kitchen, and going for nice slow walks.
What being a full-spectrum doula means to me: having a deep respect for the vulnerability, magic, stories, histories, messiness, excitement, and joys that each birthing person brings to their own experience. I see my job within that experience as being someone who holds space for any and all feelings, emotions, fears and hopes that might exist within the broad nature of birthwork. My job is to advocate for the birthing body, to aid and support them in having a birth that feels safe and most of all empowered.
